People who have Autism or A.S.D. are not that different from other kids. There's really no such thing as "normal". No two people are exactly the same. We all are unique. Kids with Autism or A.S.D. seem to a lot of times stand out in the crowd. I should know for I myself have Asperger's Syndrome. Asperger's Syndrome is one type of Autism. Some kids with Autism or A.S.D. have trouble socializing with other kids. Some have trouble with speaking. And some have other problems. Some Autistic or A.S.D. kids are often picked on because of their disabilities. There are some Autistic or A.S.D. kids that rarely get invited anywhere by their friends. Many wonder why this is so. These kids aren't that different from other kids. They have feelings, they have talents, they have interests, and they can be great friends if you give them a chance. So if you meet some one and he or she tells you that he or she has Autism or A.S.D. don't tease him or her! Be nice to him or her. Give him or her a chance. Who knows? He or she might turn out to be a really great friend!
(in case you don't know, Autism isn't a sickness.)
