People who have Autism or A.S.D. are not that different from other kids. There's really no such thing as "normal". No two people are exactly the same. We all are unique. Kids with Autism or A.S.D. seem to a lot of times stand out in the crowd. I should know for I myself have Asperger's Syndrome. Asperger's Syndrome is one type of Autism. Some kids with Autism or A.S.D. have trouble socializing with other kids. Some have trouble with speaking. And some have other problems. Some Autistic or A.S.D. kids are often picked on because of their disabilities. There are some Autistic or A.S.D. kids that rarely get invited anywhere by their friends. Many wonder why this is so. These kids aren't that different from other kids. They have feelings, they have talents, they have interests, and they can be great friends if you give them a chance. So if you meet some one and he or she tells you that he or she has Autism or A.S.D. don't tease him or her! Be nice to him or her. Give him or her a chance. Who knows? He or she might turn out to be a really great friend!
(in case you don't know, Autism isn't a sickness.)

Bullies
Have you ever been bullied? I have. When you're in almost any grade it can be hard to tell the difference between the friends and the bullies. The best way to avoid being bullied is by sticking with the friends you know you can trust and if a bully teases you just walk away. You don't want to get in a fight!
Crushes
Crushes are really complicated and sometimes hard to deal with. You don't know if the boy feels the same way about you, you have to keep your crush a secret unless you want him to know how you feel, you have to be careful not to freak him out. You also have to make sure not to let your secret out. The best way to keep the boy from discovering your secret or freaking out is by acting casual. Treat him like one of your friends. That way he won't suspect anything. Then when you feel that you're ready you can tell him how you feel.
Crazy little sister
Hi! I'm Holly! Do your siblings get on your nerves sometimes? My little sister, Sylvia drives me crazy! She's annoying! She's way too silly and really hyper. She likes weird things too. She also is very picky about what restraunt we go to. Almost every restraunt we go to she complains about it. She doesn't like chocolate or caramel. Sometimes I swear that she and I aren't related. Even though a lot of times she makes me want to blow my top she is my sister and I love her(don't tell her I said that).
